Retraining / Relearning Spells

Rules Questions

With most spontaneous spellcasters (All to my knowledge) you can replace old spells with new ones at a specific time

With the Sorcerer it is at 4th level, and every even number level after that

What I want to know is does that apply to spells learned through say:

"New Arcana (Ex): At 9th level, you can add any one spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list to your list of spells known. This spell must be of a level that you are capable of casting. You can also add one additional spell at 13th level and 17th level."

Or would spells learned that way only be changed with the retraining rules

The only sorcerer spells you can't replace are those that explicitly said so when you got them, such as

Sorcerer Bloodline wrote:
At 3rd level, and every two levels thereafter, a sorcerer learns an additional spell, derived from her bloodline. These spells are in addition to the number of spells given on Table: Sorcerer Spells Known. These spells cannot be exchanged for different spells at higher levels.

Since New Arcana doesn't say that about its spells, you're free to replace them normally.

Quote:
Upon reaching 4th level, and at every even-numbered sorcerer level after that (6th, 8th, and so on), a sorcerer can choose to learn a new spell in place of [n]one she already knows[/b]. In effect, the sorcerer loses the old spell in exchange for the new one. The new spell’s level must be the same as that of the spell being exchanged. A sorcerer may swap only a single spell at any given level, and must choose whether or not to swap the spell at the same time that she gains new spells known for the level.

The requirement is to swap a spell you already know, how you know it is not relevant. You can't swap bloodline spells, but that limit is clearly spelled in the bloodline power.

New arcana doesn't have text barring the swap so you can do it.

I am not sure if you can retrain the New arcana bloodline power alone. It is a class feature, and only class feature the sorcerer can retrain is the whole bloodline, not pieces of it (unless he retrains his archetype).
If you can, it can be a big boon, as you get to pick the new spells at your current level, so, potentially, you can get 3 level 9 spells if done when you are level 18+.

I only say retrain because I can get that bloodline power with Improved Eldritch Heritage, and some may get it from being Crossblooded
