I'm sure all the right people are on top of the right things.
But does anyone know the latest word on whether everything will keep rolling with Fantasy Grounds on PF2 content. And if they'll be rolling out companion files for the core books when they come out?
I love how we can get official pre-made versions of adventures in Fantasy Grounds, with discounts if the PDf is already owned.
I'm hoping for Age of Ashes for Fantasy Grounds pretty soon after launch.

Smiteworks hasn't made any direct announcements, and neither have Paizo.. However, from the fact that they did support the playtest and have done a bang-up job of both keeping up with new releases and filling in some of the backlog of APs, I'd be fairly confident in saying they'll have support for PF2.
Having said that, however, my understanding is that Smiteworks has a a few different people who work on different parts of their licensed materials.
I know that for Starfinder, they had a separate developer for the Ruleset than for the AP material. For awhile that was handy enough as the guy doing the AP material was keeping up pretty well (not so much anymore).
It's a bit of a guessing game as there are likely NDAs involved until an announcement is ready. Still, if anyone can have the ruleset at least beta-level live and ready to go at or around launch, it will be the Smiteworks team, given their track record vs the competition.
I expect that the fracturing of the sales base will have some negative impact on further development of PF1 material, but as long as they continue to make decent sales from it, I'm sure they'll have someone working on bits and pieces. I vote "yes" with my wallet every time they produce something new for PF or SF (except maybe the flipmats.)

Speaking of FGU, Kickstarter is live and funded in 40 minutes.
No announcement of 2E support as of yet, but I'd expect that announcement closer to July anyway.

Actually, under "Original Features Supported:", the Kickstarter page states the following:
Multiplayer support for playing tabletop games of Dungeons & Dragons (2E, 3.5E, 4E and 5E), Pathfinder RPG 1, Pathfinder RPG 2, Starfinder.
(Though I'm not sure exactly what it means, since PF2 is not explicitly cited in the next line, "Built-in content for D&D 3.5E, 5E and Pathfinder 1")

Probably means, "Yeah, you can play Starfinder in Fantasy Grounds, but you'll need to put in your own time to make it work."

Starfinder is already a premium ruleset on fantasy grounds, no doubt they will have 2e up and running soon after its release.
