Just Checking that I have this right...

With the announcement of the impending release of Pathfinder 2nd Ed. , I was understandably overcome by a wave of "must-order-the-main-book-now!-itus" and "ran" to the online store and ordered my copy. Order #7574353, I believe.

After watching far too many Twitch videos on Pathfinder (Please tell Dan he does a great job), over the ensuing weeks, I broke down and upgraded my order to a full blown Pathfinder RPG subscription. Order #7792478.

Now in my sidecart the Pathfinder 2nd Ed. Core Rule book now has a little "s" next to it, which I hope means that the initial order has been replaced by the subscription copy. I have no doubt that the new book is a magnificent thing, but I only want one copy of it, and would like to start my subscription with it.

Could you please tell me if that is the case, and if it isn't how I would go about rectifying it? Thank you for your time and information that you can provide and sorry for getting into this situation in my over exuberance. Cheers B.

You should be fine. I’ve done that sort of thing a number of times without a hitch:

The subscription spawning system is clever enough to assume you’ve converted a preorder to a subscription and only send you one. Keep an eye on the emails in July, just in case - you always get a few days from spawning before they start shipping, so if you accidentally get put down for two you’ll have time to contact them and get one cancelled.

Hello Beardragon,

I can confirm that you have only one Second Edition Core rulebook order and its the one generated from the subscription. You should be good to go!

Remember that the new Bestiary will ship as part of that subscription at the same time as the Core Rulebook. This won't display in your sidecart, but it will generate with your preorders in July.

I did think that the Bestiary was included Sam, but thanks for confirming it ... August will be an expensive month, but it is worth it.
