Like Dead Suns before it, this AP is practically begging for Solarian PCs. I'm thinking I may make one equal and opposite to my Dead Suns PC, the half-elf Arcalinte Soter, and play a drow Solarian who was educated at Eclipse Academy on Apostae, and fights with a pitch-black solar weapon, to contrast Arcalinte's shining solar armor!

Ryphorian (Summerborn) dragonblood vanguard* steward officer
Shirren biotechnician biohacker (enzymology field of study, Studious) starfinder data jockey
Half-elf priest (Ibra) operative (gadgeteer specialization)
*- finally, a way to make a battleflower character
I'f i not GMing, I'd probably go either Human or Rhyphorian Star Shaman Mystic, might be the first time I give that sort of character a shot.

I had another idea for a Solarian PC as well: since there's emphasis on psychic emanations and phenomena from inside the sun in Dawn of Flame a psychic-sensitive species like shirren would tie in with those ideas very well.
So why not a Shirren solarian from somewhere like Versces, maybe guided by prophetic visions of their own from Desna to see the stars up close and personal, wielding an icestar staff!
Now I can't decide between the shirren or the drow...
Vesk Operative (Daredevil) Icon was the first thing that jumped to mind. I just need to get someone to play his mechanic with camera drone to record his exploits.

Has an Electrocellular Plasma Claw as his main weapon.

We started tonight and our party is ridiculous. They're definitely towards the murderhobo end of the spectrum, and a little silly...
The characters all have one word names too. Some have an actual name, but everyone just goes by their callsign.
So we have:
Stampede, elven gunslinger - an elf of few words, but many bullets (elf combat expertise envoy lawman)
Mate, copaxi techno with a dark past and a drinking problem (copaxi outlaw)
Brain, ysoki genius mechanic and his doshko-wielding combat drone "Pinky"
Apex, aka "The Grenade Tossin' Kid" (human bombard soldier pilot)
Fixer, rubberman escapee from the Star Empire (brakim boundary vanguard)
Doc, Android genetech who is definitely voiding his warranty (xenometric maraquois android biohacker pilgrim)
So far, everything is going great and I can't wait to see how everyone plays going forward.
