I've been looking for a druid archetype that puts all of its eggs into the Wild Shape basket. I don't care if the animal companion and/or domain go away. I'd sacrifice some spellcasting, but probably not all of it. I just want to play a character whose whole shtick is Wild Shape. Early and frequently.
Have I missed it in the rules? Any suggestions?

Kind of the Shifter class, but they're pretty disappointing. You can focus your feats and spells on things that make you better while wildshaped, but there's no better class than bog-standard Druid.
It's kind weird that Druids don't even get the Beast Shape spells. At least then you could manually trade spellcasting for Wildshape.

4 levels in Druid + Powerful Shape Feat. Then take levels in things that improve your fighting prowess. I like Warpriest, replacing your regular Natural Attack Damage with Warpriest Sacred Weapon Damage, which Sizes up along with you: size Huge when you are level 8. Buff yourself with Strong Jaw. Take a level in White Haired Witch, so you will get a Hair Attack along with all the others. Acquire a Helm of the Mammoth Lord or an Animal Mask, so you will also get a Gore Attack. Depending on the shape, you might have to remove your Helm and then put it on. You might not be allowed to use if some of your shapes do not have a Head Slot.
I like the Allosaurus: Size Huge, 2 Claws and a Bite.
I like the Giant Octopus: Size Large, but 8 Tentacle Attacks all with Grab and Constrict. + Bite, for like 17 Attacks/Round! I can make it more.
They're called Druidzilla builds.

No such thing, really.
You can Wild Shape differently than base Druid (going for giants, feys or oozes even), better but later and with a much more limited selection (the two or so viable shamans), or gain the Hunter's Animal Focus in top of it with the Feral Hunter - probably the most straightforward.
Building for Wild Shape is more about what you do with your ability scores and feats, and your playstyle in action.
Shifter means higher BAB, no magic, and some hotly debated jankyness. Interesting though, if you can make it work.
Oh yeah, multiclassing works. Really well. Ranger has options.
Powerful Shape requires Druid 8 though, you might be thinking of something else.

4 levels in Druid + Powerful Shape Feat.
Prerequisites: Wild shape class feature, druid level 8th.
How does that work?

I think the feat in question should be shaping focus. Powerful shape comes later as you note, and just isn't important for a druidzilla anyway.

Yes. Sorry. I meant Shaping Focus.
