Well, there is the standard action charge used during a surprise round, maybe talk to your GM about readying that? Kinda a meet in the middle sort of thing.
I do hate that you can't ready a charge. I complain about that every time it comes up.
Well either find a quick and easy way to stagger yourself, or get the Rhino Charge feat.
Crafting and leadership. It's easier to just ban both as players have shown themselves to be resentful if allowed in any sort of non-power gaming fashion.

We wound up agreeing to do "thematic crafting," where you need to gather thematically-related items to the thing you want to craft. In retrospect, I kind of dig it as a system. It means you have to be very particular about what you want to craft, and gives you a real connection to the game world through your items.

It's got 2 prerequisites, but if you're the charging type you probably already have Power Attack.
I do see where you're coming from though, some options should be default options rather than feats (like for example: Power Attack)

My favorite thing about Rhino Charge is that it has two feat prereqs that have nothing to do with what the feat does, and neither of them are combat expertise.
That's just Peak Paizo right there. I can't imagine anyone using it other than a Brawler who picks it up temporarily.
