Vampires and daylight

Rules Questions

Are there any means for a vampire to shield against daylight and be a ´daywalker´ ?

Just with Pathfinder, I don't think so.
However, I know some things that can help you, 3pp materials. I assume your are the DM, so you can use these without problem, in theory. These are the Fleshbound vampire by Sean K. Reynolds, which do give you some kind of sunlight immunity, but make you lose a lot of typical vampire powers. The second one is a 3pp D&D feat, Sunlight Immunity, who is explicit about what it give (here and here are the prerequisites), but your dear vampire will smell ofdatura ferox. which is a musky plant, quite of a disagrement, not gonna lie. But I assume a vampire can afford perfumes, right ?

Anyway, that's all I know of, and that's not official content (even if the template is from Sean K. Reynold). I hope somebody can help you better than I. Good luck.

SPF 1000? :-P

But seriously, there is one I know of in PF but it's a temporary spell, you'd have to keep renewing it: Protective Penumbra.

EDIT: Oh, there's also Cloak of Shadows, but it's higher-level and shorter duration, so probably not the way to go. Nice other benefits, though.

Thanks, Protective Penumbra solves the problem just fine :)

Here's a more permanent solution.
