I have a question regarding the rules of the Wildblooded Sorcerer Retribution Bloodline. This is a branch of the Martyred Bloodline. The Retribution Bloodline has the following Arcana:
Bloodline Arcana: Whenever a creature damages you, until the end of your next turn if you apply a metamagic feat to a spell that targets that creature, reduce the spell level increase of that metamagic feat by 1 (minimum 0).
The Martyred Bloodline has the following 1st level power, which a sorcerer taking the Retribution Bloodline would also get:
Sacrificial Boon (Su): At 1st level, as an immediate action, you can sacrifice 1 hit point in exchange for a +1 sacred bonus on the next damage roll, saving throw, or skill check you make. This bonus only applies as long as you use it by or during your next turn—otherwise both your sacrificed hit point and the bonus are wasted. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.
Can I sacrifice a hit point, thus dealing damage to myself, and then cast a spell on myself with the reduction in metamagic taking place?
Example: I use Sacrificial Boon as an immediate action. Then, I cast extended mage armor on myself.

The key phrasing in Sacrificial Boon is "you can sacrifice 1 hit point". And it boils down to: Is sacrificing a hit point considered taking damage? It can be healed back so maybe it is.
If this is for Society, you should expect shenanigans like this to not work all the time. If for a home game, ask for a ruling. But if I was your GM, I'd allow it in Society.

Thanks a bunch. I am the GM haha but I like looking at cool builds still. I really want it to work, and I feel like it should work, I'm just hoping a mod comes by this thread and gives me the OK.
