Hello! Im having a little trouble planning what to do in the next situation and will thank any advice.
Here is the thing, im playing a vanilla witch and find myself near lvl 5 and about to get new spells. The party and i have a plan to make but im not sure how to deal with this.
The plan is to use stinking cloud to debuff the enemies and have the party with necklaces of adaptation to avoid taking the debuf (ill craft them to have them earlier) and blind fight to fail less attacks.
Thing is... I cant cast spells/hexes on them while the fog is on cause i cant see far with the spell going. May be a good idea to use Vermin Shape to fight? (at vermin shape 2 i can have tremorsense) my stats are fine to take some damage while in melee but i lack str. (str 10 dex 12 con 18). What about polymorphing my familiar? Any lead?
The other alternative is to take a level in oracle with waves/fire mistery to see trough fog (later will be cloud kill so will be relevant later) but i dont have any charima (in fact is -1 so i will not benefit from any spell) and it will retrace my witch spell and hexes progression a little.
I know there is an item that allows to see through mist but isnt allowed by the gm because we are not playing with that book.
Any ideas/advice?
Thank you!

There's a few items that can do that, though they tend to be too expensive for your level. Do you know which isn't allowed? I know one is a bit of a spoiler for an Adventure Path, and would be strange to include in a game outside of that adventure.
The cheapest ones I could find, and also the most commonly used ones for this tactic, are Fog Cutting Lenses and Goz Masks
The Witch also has a Hex called Murksight
I don't know what race you are, but two of the feats that I found that can do this are racially-locked.
Sylphs have Cloud Gazer, but it only increases how far you can see without penalty if the effect is magical.
Ifrits have Firesight, but that's limited to smoke and fire.
Anyone with Blindfight and five ranks in Perception can take Mountain Eyes.
Rangers can take Swamper, but the range you ignore concealment at is adjacent.
