David Setty Memorial Game Day and Online Raffle

I am sorry to announce that the Great Lakes, more specifically the Cincinnati/Dayton area in Ohio lost a well-known and beloved volunteer. His devotion to our Society is commendable. He traveled to many conventions and events in and around the Ohio area always giving of his time as a GM and an organizer and recently earned his 5th GM star. He was a mentor to many of the VOs in that area. He was a selfless volunteer and truly demonstrated what it means to be part of a community. David Setty will be sorely missed.

We will be honoring David on May 6th, at Epic Loot Games in Centerville, Ohio, by playing David's favorite game, Pathfinder. Join us by signing up here to play or GM for Solstice Scar Version B, or watch us live via streaming.

David was an awesome guy. He was always the kind of guy who would travel a long way to cover for another GM who had to drop unexpectedly. Or the guy who wouldn't hesitate to play a Kyra pre-gen instead of his own character when the party needed a reliable healer. I thank God for the time I enjoyed sitting the table with him.

Any dollar given to this cause goes a long way to honoring David's contributions to the Cincinnati/Dayton lodges as well as the Pathfinder Society as a whole.

Brent, can you make it more clear how the raffle items will be divided? It's difficult to allocate tickets to them if we don't know exactly how the items will be raffled off.

For example, the dice bags are listed as a set, but apparently each bag is supposed to be an individual item.

Each Dice Bag is its own item. Each charity boon is it's own item. Each bundle is it's own item. The comics are 1 item. Each boon package is 1 item. The Advanced Guide, Field Guide and We Be Goblins are 1 item each.

Wish I could have joined. Husband said he wanted to have a day where we didn't have anything planned. So, no running off to play Pathfinder for me.

Hopefully there will not be a 'next time'. Given a next time would mean the loss of another member of the gaming community.

Hello Everyone! Our Memorial Game Day is done, and I'm excited to announce we raised $3390 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

I want to thank Daniel Glenn Knipfer, Heather Vigil, Allen Snyder, Bahb Jonquet, Epic Loot Games in Centerville and Jeph Lewis for helping organize the game day. I also want to thank Allen Snyder, Heather Vigil, Joshua Hubbell, CJ Suchyta, Gregg Mounce, Andrew Biddle and Tonya Woldridge Opm for their donations to the raffle. Without you, we never would have raised this money.
