GURPS Dinosaurs to Pathfinder

Conversions

I recently acquired GURPS Dinosaurs for use in a campaign, but I'm faced with converting most of the stats. GURPS has four stats: ST -- Strength, DX - Dexterity(?), IQ - Intelligence, and HT - hit points. GURPS does not have a level statistic (something to make it stand out from Dungeons and Dragons).

But Steve Jackson Games produces quality books for use in other games, some of what I used myself. Their books aren't crunchy but creamy. However, GURPS Dinosaurs is a bestiary containing the terrible lizards. It even has a forward by Jack Horner and is recommended by the Dinosaur Society. It does not contain all the dinosaurs that have been discovered. In fact, Pathfinder bestiaries contain dinosaurs that are not on the list of GURPS Dinosaurs. Although I hope each of you will pick up a copy for use in your own games, it's $7.99 price tag on Warehouse 23 might be a bit steep for most people.

SPECIAL QUALITIES
Powerful Bite (Ex) This is shared with Tyranosaurus Rex (see Bestiary), an allosaurus can apply twice its Strength modifier to bite damage.

The Allosaurus is described in various texts, including GURPS Dinosaurs and The Dinosaurs of Utah (which I also acquired). It also happens to be the State Fossil of Utah. The Allosaurus has the ability to produce a humanoid species through evolution. Allosaurus Sapiens will be notated in the future. Almost all of the theropods have a humanoid equivalent.

CONVERSION NOTES: I used Tyrannosaurus Rex from the bestiary as a template. I also translated ST of 75-100 to Strength 29 and did a direct conversion of it's Dex. Speed was hard to figure out, knowing that the speed of a T-Rex is wrong (Bob Bakker has calculated T-Rex's speed to 50 miles per hour! See the Dinosaur Heresies for more information).

Looks like Allosaurus is already converted. Dang. Allosaurus is covered in the Bestiary 2.

Utahraptor can evolve into humanoids. They are already noted on the Welcome to RAPTORIA thread. A pretty good reconstruction is located here, even with feathers (utahraptors never did have them).

CONVERSION NOTES: "Utah's thief" (Utahraptor ostrommaysorum) is based off of Deinonychus with the Giant template applied. A scale drawing is located here. I directly converted GURPS dodge statistic to the Reflex save, Dex is a direct conversion of the DX statistic noted in GURPS Dinosaurs, Con is also a direct conversion from the first value in GURPS HT, which is 15.

Note to Paizo, find someone else to do reconstructions of your dinos. Deinonychus' reconstruction pretty much sucks in the Bestiary. Here's a better picture of Deinonychus.
