I feel like someone’s probably thought of this before, but couldn’t find it searching the subforum. So. Thoughts? Given the particulars of the campaign I feel like this could be amazing. If I had the experience (and the books) I’d look to run it myself, but I don’t. If there’s sufficient interest, would anyone think about GMing such a campaign?

Most of the time I'd agree, but with Vigilante archetypes that can get 6 levels of arcane or divine casting or (to an extent) emulate fighters, rogues, cavaliers, alchemists, druids etc, I think it's one of the few classes that could make it work. And you get to be the Power Rangers/Justice League/X-Men/other group of superheroes with (semi-)secret identities.

It's perfect for the AP. Hell's Rebels is all about being average people rising up against an oppressive government. When rising up, you need to hide from said government, and a good GM will target the PC's friends and family if he gets the chance. Vigilantes have an actual mechanic for this.
That...and an all vigilante group can fill *all* roles. From fighter, to healer, to ninja, to wizard...it won't be as dedicated as the actual class, but they can fill it. And that would make for a pretty darn cool party.

If we do move forward, I'm going to likely make a magical child who is an orphan whose parents were imprisoned as political dissidents, for having the temerity to sell cookies from their bakery that slightly mocked the house of Thrune (they were of Abigail I and a demon ballroom dancing with each other). For this terrible sin, their business was burned down, they were imprisoned, and their child was placed in an orphanage, where that child languished until a magical critter came to it and offered it the power to free it's parents.

The problem is the Stalker doesn’t make a good Rogue for Hell’s Rebels. They are missing Trapfinding and therefore lack a way to deal with magical traps.
Now it is true you stated Ninja (who also lacks it), but still the lack of Trapfinding is worth noting,

Don't walk away on my account. As I said in my first post in the thread, I'm already in an HR game, and I wouldn't want to mess myself up like that. If some GM gives this idea legs, go for it, man.

I've decided to take this up and save my other idea as an option for my RL Starfinder group.
I'll make a recruitment thread in a few hours and link to it from here. Only submissions in the actual recruitment thread will be honnored.
I'm open to running it PFS in campaign mode if desired. All vigilante, no VMC or Gestalt. 20 pt buy. Background skills. Core races and Tiefling.
Will be looking for 5 players.
