Bjoern Ghostbear |

I am a bit in a situation wich occupies my mind. I am not sure I have told you but I lost my job in march. After going to court and some serious lobbying I was able to do an SAP course, very very demanding mentally which is over in two weeks.
Now I am given two job possibilities, one for a chinese solar company the other for a swedish store shelf producer. Booth pay equally and booth are very similar with work duties. Booth have unique side effects and I am very torn how to decide.
This again drained me Very much but I will post tonight

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Bjoern, I recall you mentioning losing your job, and during a holiday no less.
Congratulations on being nearly done with that SAP course. I wish you luck in choosing between those two jobs.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Hopefully the foul spirits within your pc shall be banished soon.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

That's a pretty significant reason! I hope that it works out well for you.

Talar Drealev |

This is a PSA to all of my active games: I will be unavailable starting this Friday afternoon (the 16th) until next Thursday morning (the 22nd). I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please GMPC me as needed.

Tairin of the Veils |

Okay, I think we're too scattered in this combat.
Talar's upstairs fighting alone. Tairin's on the stairs going up when Sabra informs her there's something downstairs that is more concerning (but honestly, I the player thinks it would be suicidal to go down there alone to investigate).
The others are somewhere out in the courtyard or near the front door (going by rp).
I think we need to regroup and investigate/fight together or else this won't turn out so well.

Talar Drealev |

Indeed. Talar is hot headed and I wanted to roleplay that, but perhaps I'm taking it a step too far and being reckless. Let's see what we can salvage.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

I am now unsure where Patenemheb is. I intended to have him and Farrokh move asap to assist Daniya.

Tairin of the Veils |

I suggest everyone come upstairs quick smart! As far as I can see on the map, there are no further enemy threats in the courtyard.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Best of luck, Bjeron!
And upstairs we go!

Talar Drealev |

Header updated with proper status now.
Well, the bad news is Talar was utterly reckless and is lying on the floor unconscious and may die.
The good news is, if we come out of this alive than he will have irrefutable truth that he can afford to put his life in the hands of the party and will be much more trusting.
*munches popcorn* Oh boy I hope I live!

Dain GM |

This round Tairin will provide Talar with First Aid which should help and then Paten can provide you healing for Treat Deadly Wounds. I’m just waiting to see what the bad guy does after Tairin’s AoO.
The bad guy had moved into the hallway after your AoO - at that time Bjeorn, Paten and Farrokh rushed up the stairs followed by Yeth's turn as Full Move actions as the distance required a Double Move.
It is now the turn of your team again, so if you're going to do the Heal Check just toss up the roll.
Also, given that Bjeorn has just been stabbed in the stomach by the assailant in the hall and he can act and he can't post for a while then if anyone wants to bot him that would be great.

Ariarh Kane |

When i botted you two rounds ago, I had Bjoern toss his shield over the head of the bad guy, so his DR was only 2 and not 3 at that time. And, when you played your character, Bjoern still didn’t have his shield. Once the battle was done, Bjoern could have picked up his shield.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Goodbye, Sefu!
And this does present problems...

Tairin of the Veils |

Hello, all.
After a doctor's visit today, it seems my health is worse than I thought and he's put me on 8 antibiotics a day for the next week. The side effects are horrible and I can barely function. I was going to try and post, but I'm finding it's just too much right now. I'm going to take a few days off the boards (and work) and try to rest and recuperate. My apologies. If necessary, please bot Tairin where needed until my return.
Thanks kindly.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Tairin, at least it's caught. Take care.

Dain GM |

Hey guys -
So at this point I'm eager to respond to stuff on the board, yet I feel I'll leave people behind if I do so.
That being the case, one of the primary requirements I have for this game is to post at least once a day (barring weekends) and if you can't post, to at least put something up letting me know you're AFK and when you should be back so you can be botted.
As a supplement for posting I'm adding that a post must include Dialogue from your character. In short; while a lengthy post on what your character is thinking or feeling is fun and interesting to read, if you don't speak what your character is thinking aloud it would be Meta-gaming for the other Players/NPC's to respond to your characters thoughts.
Interaction with the others is essential to keeping the game moving.
As it stands I've written some lengthy notes/questions on a site called "Discord" because it was suggested that using that software would be very helpful to getting the game to advance smoothly when various players have questions.
At this time I haven't seen posts/responses from Yeth or Bjeorn in the past two days and I'm curious to know what's up.
From an In-Game perspective your characters suffered a lot but where also healed quite a bit.
You have lots of In-Game reasons to be talking to your companions (not counting the NPC's) but I'm not seeing it happen at this point.
If you could start posting responses to the other PC's thoughts/opinions that would be awesome.
That said, I'm exhausted but I hope to see you tomorrow when I get a break from work.
Tomorrow I'll start responding to the various posts on the game board in bulk and I'm eager to see some feedback when I get back.
Have a good night and I'll see you all soon!

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Those are reasonable points. I will say that Patenemheb would think before he speaks as a rule, and I personally don't know what he knows. Which makes appropriate comments from him tricky.

Dain GM |

My apologies via the delay for posting.
I was very tired today, and I'm sick (unfortunately) and was forced to skip lunch at my first job because I was stuck at the DMV getting my license renewed and that took a great deal of time.
Meanwhile, I didn't get out of second job until midnight, but I was forced to stay late to help my manager with the police report because we were assaulted by a customer at work. One of the other employees went to the hospital and the manager had severe bruises on his head and arms, but other than getting punched a few times I'm alright.
That being the case, I do want to apologize again for the delay on the posting and I'll have something up soon.

Patenemheb Sitayet |

O_O
I hope said punches haven't left you with concussion or other such serious problems.
It's completely understandable that you would be delayed in doing much of anything else after all that!

Who has this dagger currently? Our prior druid, Caslav, had it first, then our prior ranger, Ala'hys. I did mention we take it off Ala'hys before he leaves the party, but I'm unsure as to who has claimed it since.
Ikhtanabu Xul's Dagger : (Worth 10,000gp)
- The Dagger itself is not specifically an evil weapon. It is considered a weapon of power that was created by a servant of Yadar, and he is not considered to be a "Good" god, (more like NE or LN, potentially).
However, as it was made by a servant of Yadar it grants a +4 to all Saves made against Disease to those who carry it.
Further, while it is a +1 dagger normally, it is considered a Bane Weapon for Undead, for Undead are those creatures which walk the earth and - by their existence - they keep the spirits of the Dead from fully reaching the icy grip of Yadar.

Dain GM |

I do not know who has the dagger at this time, unfortunately.
I meant to make a post in the game before sleeping tonight, but I'm just run down. Between the events this week coupled with my low health I think I'll have to wait to have something up tomorrow.
Meanwhile, please take this time to RP with each other - you have all had the chance to make a single, direct statement about what your character wants to do.
I'd be delighted to see what each character has to say about what the other characters have said. So feel to do some Social RP among yourselves to figure out your plans and I'll do what I can to get back to you all in the morning between shifts.
Have a great night and I'll see you all soon!

Patenemheb Sitayet |

Take care Dain. I aim to post this evening GMT.

Tairin of the Veils |

Get your rest, Dain GM. I'll respond to any follow rp in my morning as I'm headed to bed soon.

Tairin of the Veils |

If we heal people anew in the morning and then we explore the estate and get into another possible combat with injuries, people then won’t be able to get any healing for another 24 hours - only bed rest. I personally think that may be a problem, especially since we don’t have access to Red’s healing hex anymore.

You do have a good point; it may be good to take their healing in stages, if possible.
However, I should add there was a bit of excitement on the first day you were in town; it is possible that this day may also have at least as much excitement - if not more so...
But that's totally up to you guys on your healing, just keep me posted.
