Question: I'm just getting into Pathfinder fully and I'm noticing there are a lot of campaign guides but I can't seem to find one main campaign book/set like old school D&D's Forgotten Realms or Greyhawk but plenty of Elminster Ecology styled guides.
Does Pathfinder have anything like this to help get one started? Because otherwise it's pretty cost prohibited to try and get into.
Any and all help is appreciated! :)

ok cool deal thank you everyone :) That sounds like my next buy.
Secondary question: Do you have any recommendations for the River Kingdoms supplement? Like a good complementary campaign guide? I'd assume one of the neighboring kingdoms would work but if there are any I'd like to get some feedback on one that people feel stands out.
During my subscription phase I ended up getting that book, Lost Kingdoms, and the Isles of the Shackles so since I have them I want to try and build around them eventually. But the River Kingdoms was my favorite of the ones I have currently

As the others have said, the main campaign book is the Inner Sea World Guide. This book sets the baseline assumptions about the World of Golarion, and has a map and four-page gazeteer of each of the lands of the Inner Sea Region of Golarion. (The hardcover is on sale at 50% off for the next two weeks.) And the PDF is only $10.
If you don't want to commit to a 320-page hardcover, the Player Compaion volume Inner Sea Primer is a slimmed-down overview of each of the lands from the perspective of the player. As such, it doesn't delve into mysteries or expose secrets, but still protrays the basic character of each region, along with an overview of the major deities and their faiths.
Paizo has also published nearly a hundred Campaign Setting softcover books. Many of these 64-page books focus on a particular region of the campaign world, while others focus on other aspects (such as magic, religion, monster lore, or history). If you're going to run a campaign set in Golarion, I'd recommend getting the ISWG, and also the focused Campaign Setting guide specific to the region(s) where you'll be running your game.

You probably want:
Guide to the River KingdomsPeople of the River
Guide to the River Kingdoms is out of print, unfortunately (it's an older one), but you can still get the PDF. People of the River is a player-centered guide, but it's got some neat stuff in it.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but you also can look at Pathfinderwiki Start by searching for a page you want to build off of, and click through the Blue links to find other realted pages.... watch the "references" section to see what books the information is taken from, if you see one book being referenced over and over again, put that on your short list.
