So I know we have the wishlist thread, but that's for what we want. This is more of a "what do we realistically expect next?" Kind of thread. Personally, given how little we have about them so far, I'm expecting it to be set in the Veskarium itself. Since we don't have anything about it in the core, APs, or the Pact Worlds book in march, I'd be shocked if we didn't get it in it's own AP.
What else do you expect to see in the next AP?

I expect the next AP to contrast with the first. Where Dead Suns is all about popping around to exotic locations and building a "classic" space opera adventure, I expect the next AP to explore fewer locations, but in greater depth, with more prevalent NPCs. I would look to Curse of the Crimson Throne as a kind of thematic template.
A sequel to the first.
I actually think they'll roll out a level 12 - 20.
I don't think that's super likely, mostly because it limits the audience to people who have completed the first AP, which is going to be significantly smaller than those interested in a new AP. I would expect the next AP to be a bit larger and cover more levels, though.

Jade regent is a sequel to rise of the runelords but you don't have to play runelords to play it.
I think they will release a high level AP. Plotwise it doesn't have to be anything related to deadsuns at all, just a level range that allows players to continue on if they wish.
I think you're underestimating the size of the audience a high level adventure path would bring in.

Personally, I think the second AP is more high risk than the first from a business perspective. There's bound to be a drop off from people who tried the first - hopefully the pickup from word-of-mouth will replace them.
Whatever they release needs to cater to attracting newcomers, just as much as expanding the scope of adventures on offer. Consequently, I'd be very surprised if they went for a high level AP.

Yes I completely agree about having a military sf adventure path would be my jam. Also I really want to know the size of space fleets in Starfinder. Just how many cruisers and battleships dose the Stewards have?

Not to mention rules for multi-ship battles. :)

A more militant AP would be cool, but what about a militant archeological expedition?

Something combining Atlantis and Indiana Jones style action archeology could be really cool.

"Hay look I made a bridge, it only took me like what 10 seconds, 11 tops" :)
I could also go for a nice SG-1 like AP, lots of archaeology and gunfights. I mean Daniel Jackson dies almost as much as some PCs.

It will be a first for Paizo, and this will be a good system to try that in.
with today's announcement of the third AP, i think that might be a prescient bet.
