Anyone have any experience with the operative so far?

I've been looking over it and with 4 attacks and the trick attack it seems they have some potential to be pretty bursty in damage has that been anyone experience?

Sovereign Court

They still do very little damage at 1st and 2nd level, but after that, they really start to deliver good damage. Weapon Specialization for them doesn't provide that much of a bonus, but their trick attack really starts to get effective at 5th level and above. Not sure why it's so weak at low levels, though.

Keep in mind that you cannot combine a Trick Attack with a Full Attack. Trick Attack is its own special Full Action that allows you to take 1 attack. So, you can't get your Trick Attack damage with those 4 attacks you're talking about.

AH ok so you can't trick attack 4 times That is kind of what I was wondering cause that seemed WAY too good. so is the trick attack still better then making 4 regular attacks?

No, but you can move and trick attack.

Ah ok so move and trick or if I don't need to move just pew pew pew pew to my hearts content ok that makes sense then.

By 13th (the level above 9 we have a creature around for comparison at) it's about equal in damage (possibly slightly lower), but allows you to move and lay down a debuff as well as attack.

So I'd say Trick Attack is better but only by a bit, and mostly due to the debuff.

Plus with debilitating trick you can make them flat-footed to the 4 attacks on your next turn

Oh nice so you actually get rewarded for varying your tactics!

You can only Trick Attack one foe, so Quad Attack wins out if you need to waste multiple foes. Trick Attack comes with a bunch of fun riders, so if there's a single guy you want to mess with, Trick them.

Do note that at 14th Level, an Operative who hits a target with at least 2 attacks in a full attack can debilitate an enemy like they can with a trick attack.

So, full attacks against a single enemy might be a good idea if you don't have to get through damage reduction or energy resistance. If you do, the one big hit from Trick Attack is probably better.

Which I think is neat. It's nice to have a few different ways to handle foes which are viable in different situations.
