orc Tusked trait

so the orc Tusked trait says that I gain a bite that if used as part of a full attack takes a -5 to hit. this is a very strange natural attack as it seems like a secondary but doesn't take the -5 if I only attack with the bite.

Huge, sharp tusks bulge from your mouth, and you receive a bite attack (1d4 damage for Medium characters). If used as part of a full attack action, the bite attack is made at your full base attack bonus –5.

is this a typo? did they mean to include "If used as part of a full attack action with manufactured weapons" which means its a primary attack (as all bites are). but currently its a primary attack that takes a -5 attack even if you only use other natural attacks to attack with the bite. the problem is as it is currently defined it gets no bonus from the multi attack feat because its not a secondary so you can never lower the -5.

tldr: was this meant to be a secondary or primary or some weird primary that takes all the penalties of a secondary but can't get a bonus from multi attack to lower the -5

A full, primary natural attack seems too strong for a trait, I would use the weird hybrid rules.

you can Always take the alternate racial "toothy" (replaces orc ferocity, see APG) to get a primary bite attack.

yeah I know half orc has a trait also, there is also a feat that does the same as the trait. I was just wondering if it was ever clarified in an errata or something. such an odd natural attack

We're unlikely to ever receive an errata or FAQ because it's from a splat book. It could be added to the "Golarion Rules and Questions" FAQ if the question ever gets enough attention.

I don't read the Trait as always applying the -5 penalty. I view that clause as "reminder text" that was written with the assumption that a "full attack" would be with a manufactured weapon.

Expect table variation, pretty much.
