Yes. In Starfinder, as well as tautologically. But, in SF, at least, they're also more "alive" than most works tend to presume.

Consider:
The most popular stardrive was a gift from Triune, after Brigh, Epoch, and Casandalee compiled themselves into that even BIGGER god. A lot of us are arguing over whether mortal souls need biological components, even though Iron Gods achieve divinity without such.

True that. At the end of the day, nothing in PF or SF's lore directly states that a being most be a fleshbag to have a soul. Seems to me that you either have a soul or you don't. No real rhythm or reason to it.


This thread reminds me so very much of very old Dragonball Z questions.
