I would love to see what people had to say about our little corner of the Sag. I know I have my ideas and thoughts, but I don't want to Lead the Witness.
I will say thanks to everyone who came and worked, and the players who came and enjoyed themselves. We have a great community!

My wife and I came by and played scenario 1A of Faction's Favor, along with a couple newbies who had just learned the game the day before and were using loaner decks. We had fun and it was a good time.

I do notice that every year the player group gets sparser, and it seems to be really tough to find players for non-intro level scenarios. I think demos drive a lot of new players up there, which is great, but last year I was frustrated that I couldn't find anyone else to play at tier 5. This weighed into my decision not to seek out the P scenario for Plundered Tombs, and just go with a new character starting FF.

Sad that there were no boon alternatives for ACG players this year. My wife doesn't play the RPG OP so her rolled boon was useless.

I wasn't able to play in the Open this year due to being a single in a slot that didn't fill. :(

Over the course of the weekend I played a couple of times just to kill time. However, I wouldn't normally choose to play the card game at Gen Con outside of special events like the Open. (Our local group runs the card game side of the Specials, so I do those at home to help with attendance.)

Mustering seemed a bit spotty, but I couldn't tell if it was more players not knowing what they wanted to do (or even the difference between options) or the volunteers getting things sorted out.

A card game boon would be a nice option.

You might take a gander into the Boon Trading Thread. Probably a few ACG boons floating around!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My family and I had a fantastic time at our first Gen Con this year. Much of that enjoyment was had playing 3 sessions of PACG. Thank-you to our 2 wonderful GM's who were very patient with us and helped us through those games. Only had purchased a single event in advance, but enjoyed it so much, we filled our free time on Saturday with more ACG. Your layout and volunteers made the event very accessible for new players like us!
