I wonder if the developers ever did a blog post about their design goals for Starfinder. If they haven't, doing a post-mortem on Starfinder after its release would really be appreciated, so that we can see what they wanted to do with the game as a whole.
They've included snippets in the blogs about their design goals.
But yes, it's always nice to get a peek inside at the bigger picture. :-)
I'd definitely find that interesting as well. I mean, you can work backwards from the rule changes to figure out what some of the design goals were. But it would be interesting to get some insight from the designers themselves about what their main concerns and goals were.
