Falling - Dex bonus to AC applicable or denied?

Rules Questions

When Falling do you get you Dex Bonus to AC?

Climbing - While climbing, you can’t move to avoid a blow, so you lose your Dexterity bonus to AC (if any).

When falling unless there is a surface within reach you can't really move to avoid a blow as a general rule.

Are there any actual rules on this?

Liberty's Edge

AFAIK there is nothing in the RAW saying you lose your DEX bonus to AC when falling, as opposed to climbing. Hence you still get it

After all, when falling you can still contort freely and even change your falling speed. Things you cannot do while climbing

And then be sure to block the earth when you land to prevent any damage.

Falling damage is not an attack AFAIK. Unless maybe you offended the ground and it aims specifically at you ;-)

I was actually reffering to this 8 bit theatre comic but it's old so I get that a lot of people won't know it
