Question regarding aberrant eidolons.

Rules Questions

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

The aberrant familiar starts with a "tentacles" attack which deals 1d6 damage. This doesn't line up with either the base "tentacle" base attack evolution which deals 1d4 damage or the "tentacle mass" evolution which deals 1d8 damage. Has there ever been a clarification on what the "tentacles" attack is meant to be?

I have the exact same question.

Well, as a familiar is not an eidolon, so which are you asking about? Assuming you do mean Eidolons, are we talking Chained or unchained? Aberrant Base Form, or the Aberration Sub Type?

Lot of unknowns here....

Looking at d20pfsrd a bit, you appear to be referencing the Base Form from Horror Realms? I don't have that title, but D20PFSRD when referencing the form in unchained sub type descriptions lists them with tentacle mass. Lacking the actual text, Id argue that seems to be the most likely suggestion.
