I would also be interested in getting into a PBP game for lowbies. I have a level 1 I've been trying to get off the ground.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For Master of the Fallen Fortress:

I have offered a place in this module to some others, giving them the opportunity to react until Monday morning (CET). If there are still open places left I will take the last players from the lodge, using a lottery to determine who will get in.

Link to sign up sheet

Please note that there is no need to post here that you filled in your details on the spreadsheet. I have already inserted your names Nefreet, Hrothdane, Supervillan and Yogadragon.

You're first on the waitlist ATM. If someone doesn't check in within the next 24-48 hours, you'll grab the next slot. I'll be picking up a few games in the near future, so if you don't get this one, I'll ping you for the next.

Liberty's Edge

Quick question: can I run two online scenarios at the same time? I thought I heard someone say 'no' a while ago... thanks!

Do you mean PbF or Roll20/VOip?

if by PbF and you can handle it, why not? You could play in multiple oline games but not with the same character.

You can't run two separate tables in the same multi-table special, but otherwise it's all good.

I am recruiting over here

You cannot run two scenarios at the same time with the same character. But you can run them as different characters.

Liberty's Edge

If you're running games as GM, as many as you can handle! I've runned 3 tomes of righteous repose at once on PBP.

Where can I find out about multi-table specials? thanks!

Liberty's Edge

@Trevalis/Kwannon: you're back in my game, as Glok has signed up for yours and he can't be in two confirmation scenarios at the same time. Please report to the Gameplay thread.

Recruitment is open for a run of the Wounded Wisp (a Tier 1-2 Evergreen).

I'll be running a lottery Wednesday night, so sign up here if you're interested.

Still waiting on Lady Alya De Qill. To make it fair, I'll say around noon EST today I'll open it to Baied Eldourha.

Sovereign Court

I would like to try running ~10 tables of #6-98: Serpents' Rise. Getting that many players may be difficult though, so I'm checking for interest first. The games wouldn't start until my current ones all finish, which will be several weeks.

You may play both core and regular. For now simply enter your name and a "Y" or "N" for each campaign. If this works, I'll follow it up with a slew of #7-98: Serpents' Ire.

Haven't heard back, so Baied Eldourha, check in HERE. Lady Alya De Qill, if you show back up I'll save you a spot in my next game.

Now recruiting CORE characters for #4-26: The Waking Rune (levels 7-11)

Liberty's Edge

Thanks!

When I gain Dms credit, I can only apply level 1 and 1-2 scenarios to level 1 characters right? Also does the credit have to be bigger than the character. Like I can apply a level 10 to module to a level 3 character, but it does not get applied until he is 10th level. Can I apply a Level 3 Dms credit module to a level 10 character?

DG --

You can apply level 1 credit only to a level 1.

You can apply level 1-2 evergreens to only one 2nd level character (and an infinite number of level ones.)

You can apply a level 10 (aka Tier 9-11) module to a level 3 character but it is a "hanging" chronicle that does not apply until the character reaches the minimum level of the module, at level 9.

You cannot apply a level three to a level ten. Chronicles can only be applied to characters at or below the level of the chronicle. You can make a new character to apply that chronicle to if you have no characters in Tier.

Does this make sense?

Hmm

yep, thanks.

The Exchange

I have to admit I read the reviews of the Waking Rune, which just made it sound an unpleasant experience. I'm also a little confused about "hard mode" I've seen that in MMORPGs but not in PFS scenarios.

Grand Lodge

Some people need hard mode to actually be challenged. Even then, it doesn't always work...

What I find amazing is that hard mode only seems to appear on the scenarios that are already hard to begin with... I'm just not into that sort of combat challenge!

Hmm

1 person marked this as a favorite.

True hard mode is not getting to customize your PC.

So Waking Rune has an optional hard mode. If the entire table is in agreement to play it, with the knowledge that it gives no extra rewards the table can play on Hard Mode.

The scenario goes from, here are some ways to help mitigate the bad guys to a more reasonable challenge level to:
This

Maybe if you're really lucky you'll get a sticker

IIRC the following other scenarios also have a hard mode:
5-13 Weapon in the Rift
5-20 The Sealed Gate
7-26+ All for Immortality Trilogy

I admit, I really like the hard mode scenarios, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Bonekeep series.

I love Bonekeep! I only died once.

I got better.

Grand Lodge

Bonekeep wasn't so tough. I only lost one companion.

I mean, having two clerics for level one helped. Chain Channel Acheivement Unlocked!
