How long dose the smoke cloud created by the Smoke Subdomain last? I can not find any official mention of duration. The wording on the domain makes it sound like it should stick around for a little bit.
It looks like it creates non-magical smoke. As such, the smoke stays as normally appropriate for local environmental conditions. If you're outdoors, it'll disperse gradually, and wind may dissipate it faster. If indoors or underground, it may stick around for a while before eventually fading.
