Plant companion

Advice

So posting this on the fly, so i might end up forgetting a few things. but here's the base of my issue. Also apologies if i posted this in the wrong place.

IS there a way to get the Plant animal companion other than treesinger Druid? If not is there a way to do a good Melee druid using this archetype?

as an aside i kind of have an idea involving using racial heritage to make a half orc using this by having him have racial heritage elf. i'll explain more later, after work but this is the gist.

There are some odd plants to wildshape into for a melee druid. Early on the psychepore gives 3 slams with poison, or a mandragora has a couple of slams with confusion poison. A mi-go has 4 attacks with grab, several resistances and can fly. Late there's a canopy creeper for those who enjoy 100' reach (not a typo).

The Supernaturalist can have a plant companion.

It gives up wild shape, but you can get claw attacks and bonus to attack and damage rolls with natural weapons. Grab a half-orc racial bite attack and you have a pretty good melee druid going.

Variant multiclass barbarian for a raging tree!

the skinwalker (wereboar-kin) also have Gore or 2x Hooves. Both with the feat extra feature
is also has a +2 wis / -2 cha (& +2 Con while shape-changed) and a bonus to handle animal; all of them fitting nicely in a druid build

i'm fine with loosing wild shape, though melee with no armor proficiency is risky so i might have to at least invest in light armor proficiency . other than that minor caveat i like supernaturalist, it weird and cool looking
