I've done this before, but I've forgotten what all I need to do (or at least I worry I've forgotten): I've reinstalled Neverwinter Nights 2 and both expansions, and I want to reinstall Kaedrin's modpack, too - my question is, where do I get the official updates and patches since the auto-updater doesn't seem to work anymore?
The version I've installed from the disks appears to be 1.020, for what it's worth.

It doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for - I just want the official updates put out by the company that made the game. The auto-updater doesn't seem to be able to find them anymore.
I seem to have found them: Neverwintervault.org, although you might have to fiddle around with the search parameters at the top.

Hmm, well I bought it and downloaded it from GoG, that's one way to install NWN 2 with all the current patches/updates, or at least more current than out of the original box.
As for modules, I just put them in the module folder if I recall right.
If you're patient, you might even be able to pick up NWN 2for really cheap (I think it cost me something like 2.99 to 5.99), but it could be a while.
Otherwise, haven't tried updating the out of the box version recently, so no idea.

For the latest patches (1.23.1765, which you very very very very much want, especially as it'll strip SecuROM off the DRM and help things run better), here ya go:
ftp://ftp.atari.com/patches/nwn2/
Follow the instructions in the READ ME at that link.

If you have a product key will Steam register it there? I know they will allow some store purchases to be registered in your library. They would have the latest patches and everything else....Just a thought?
Great game by the way! :)
