Dungeons? Abandoned Space Stations?

Will there still be "primitive" worlds on which old, forgotten dungeons stand deserted, broken, and in ruins? Will there still be a world that contains sword & sorcery adventures? Or will the environment only contain advanced technological space stations broken in half and stranded because of of some horrible occurrence, such as an asteroid destroying the engine room? How will gravity work? Will it be similar to Golarion, which is in turn similar to Earth's gravitational field? Will Starfinder touch upon finding Earth? How would that prospect affect the characters who found Earth?
The Galaxy is open for imagination, and countless worlds will be waiting for you.

Where will you be?

Developers have commented that in Pathfinder there are already other cultures that are technologically advanced and space faring. Likewise there are cultures that were space faring and have since fallen down to Golarion levels of technology. Since this is the same universe that Starfinder is set in i would assume this all still holds true. PCs can visit locations that are "stone age" through "advanced beyond their understanding of science" depending on the story being told.

From what I've heard Starfinder is going to be very exploration focused. More Planets than you can shake a laser stick at. There should be a little bit of everything.

I mean, consider Pathfinder and all the fantasy settings available in the Inner Sea region.

Perhaps a station run by a rogue AI that 'tested' the previous inhabitants to death?

An abandoned mining colony that dug too deep and woke an ancient and terrible evil. Because that's guaranteed to happen when you get into mining in a fantasy game, even if it's space fantasy.

Just for S&G, let's throw in a Telepathic Helper species that constantly keep saying 'He is awake.'

Maybe something like a Space Hulk from Warhammer 40k?

abandoned space stations, civilian colonies attacked by strange creatures, intact deep-space exploration vessels that aren't responding to hails, there's a bit you can do without having to lean on classic fantasy.

I think the point you missed is that there are players that when asked the question of "Do you want advanced science or high magic?" will answer "Yes." Since Starfinder exists in a universe where we know magic works it's natural that some groups hope for elements from both genres so they can explore the possibilities and the dichotomies of that coexistence. Others will want to play straight sci-fi games. It will be easier to do the first if the rules come on of the box.

Planet where an ancient cult accidentally summoned a mechatitan that they think is a demon god of war! The trouble is that the mechatitan's military software has decided to recognise its worshippers as 'subordinate military personnel' and the cult's foes as 'enemy combatants'.

The players might try to return the mechatitan to its original program. Unfortunately, that directive is 'cleanse planet of all sophonts'.

Paizo seems to be heavily in favor of a cosmology that is pretty much hard on the science fictiony scale. space being lethal vacum, worlds all being spherical and such. M

Raises hand.

That is one of the things I like most about the Starfinder concept actually, preferring it to straight SF or fantasy - that blend. I suspect my first character will be a Technomancer.

I've already got a starship graveyard sort of dungeon ready (at least conceptually) to run for my first foray into Starfinder. A big wrecked hull of a massive space battleship surrounded by rings of the wreckage of smaller spacecraft, locked into a sort of unstable orbit around it by the big ship's damaged artificial gravity.

Beyond that: Planets, dungeons, and nifty things to explore. The stars certainly won't be the limit.

Akata space hulk is what I am thinking about.
