Friends and I loved the show. Truly happy a 2nd Season/Sequel is coming out and can't wait to watch it.
One thing is for sure: no one is winning a parent of the year award in that show . . . even for the '80s! We were mocking the lack of parenting skills throughout the entirety of that series! It was truly comical.

If I had $50M lying around, I think I'd buy Whedon a place to write and film a few seasons of Firefly. And it would have to have a place in back where I ran Vin Diesel through my Frog God Games campaign I'm currently in.

I've just binge watched Season 2. Twice. I generally hate sequels but this one completely destroyed any expectations I had.

This show is... It's... F#*@ing beautiful. It's been years since I've seen a show that sincerely made me want everyone to have a happy ending. That's incredible. This show is incredible. And this season is the Aliens to the last season's Alien. Keep being awesome Stranger Things.

Just finished season 2. It was awesome. I loved almost every minute of it.
I do have one comment/complaint/question: did anyone else notice that the background music was often times so loud it was hard to hear the dialogue? It wasn't one episode either.
Otherwise, it was fantastic.

Yes sound track is a must have.
Also, as of Beyond Stranger Things, I absolutely love how adorkable the Duffers are - like, just super sweet.
I want everything to be a surprise so I haven't watched the trailers, do they have an exact date the new season is dropping.
Well yeah I mean they all but put the date on the trailer by all the references.
Though honestly, this feels more like the tail end of 80s movies...
I am thinking this is going to be the last season.
I'm not saddened by this. Three seasons is a good run and the kids are getting older.
Just the impression I'm getting.
I believe Netflix and the showrunners have committed to 4 seasons
3, 4. Right now long seasons are kind of killing the interest I had in some shows *coughSupernaturalcough*
Just binged watched season three. While I can't say all the plot elements worked and I do wish the season had ten episodes instead of eight, (a rather claim for me) the season ultimately came together at the end and had its needed emotional punch.
And yeah, it made me freaking cry. Again.
Two episodes in. Hopper hasn't just taken a level in DB, he's taken the whole prestige class.

Finished the new season last night. Some thoughts...
Joyce unleashing angry mom rage was classic. Winona Ryder has done such a great job with that role.
Billy was still an a~&!&%$. Then an evil, possessed a!#@&~~. At least he got to redeem himself somewhat in the end.
I wasn't too keen on them building up a new potential love interest for Steve, only to yank that rug from under him. Still, I like the way they've developed his character as a whole. My two favortie scenes with him were when he tackled and took down that Commie scum guard, then again when he rammed Billy's car with the Todfathr car.
Todfather car was f&+#ing awesome!
I look forward to another season.
