School familiar feat / archetype and elemental schools

Does the school familiar get a "lesser school power" if you have an elemental school?

And can you even take the feat legally if you have an elemental school?

I've checked around the additional resources and I haven't been able to find anything about it, except that it's legal and that "At the GM’s discretion, other schools of magic (such as elemental arcane schools from Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Magic) may have their own school familiars."

Elemental schools have basically been abandoned in the woods to die. They haven't received any mechanical support beyond APG/Ultimate Magic/Dragon Empires.

You could take the feat, but it wouldn't officially do anything, without some GM house rules.

As a house rule, I'd probably just have it work as the evocation familiar school powers, as they are elemental based. The more exotic elements like void would still need further house rules though.
