In honesty, I also think there's more to be said about whether it's OK to send summoned nature's allies, vs. actual dominated animals (as a druid player, I'd do the former, but not the latter). But all the productive stuff is too easily lost in trying to wade through the impenetrable fog of semantics and outright illogic.
