Since I seem to have better luck here than other places. I was wondering.
Say I made an Item that was Like a Belt of Giant Strength +2 but with the Constant effect of Large Person Spell, the item being Bracers instead of a Belt however.
Now since I have the same size, I could in theory disguise myself as a Giant with some Minor changes getting a +5 bonus from the skill itself as I am not trying to look like a specific person, but I imagine the -2 for the Giant Subtype of Humanoid would count as well.
How different would the encounters in the book play out from that View point in the 3rd book of the AP?
Looking to give the GM ideas since we do (once we rescue him) have a half-giant as well and I plan on making the item to make up for the fact a lot of our Giant-slaying gear was not helpful to our group with the whole attack giants Cursed Will save effect.
For those Interested the item would be like this
Lesser Bracers of Giant Power
(Constant) Enlarge Person
+2 Ability Bonus to Strength
Aura: Moderate transmutation CL: 8th, WT: 1Lb, Slot: Bracers,
Price: 34,000, Crafting Cost: 17,000
Requirements: Craft Wonderous Item, Bull's Strength, Enlarge Person
