Shrink item & Definition of object

Rules Questions

So, we have three dead bodies with magic items worn, two pieces of cloth and one "shrink item" spell on a scroll.
I want to put bodies together and tie them up in one piece of cloth, and then put this "bag" on top of another piece of cloth. Now time to cast - "bag" shrinks, and magic items worn cannot be shrinked, so they become unequiped near the bag.

Quick magic item filter. Am I right?

No. You can shrink one non-magical item. By containing magical items the bag of bodies should now be a magical item in and of itself if treated as one cohesive item. I'd say the spell fizzles because its target is an invalid one. If used on the corpse, that would sift magic items out... and would likely sift the clothes out as well.

Not saying a body bag full of corpses wouldn't shrink, that's up to the GM but gets a little hairy when you try to shrink a glass of icewater if the GM says no. But the presense of the magic items in the bag of bodies presents an issue where you are treating something containing magic items as a non-magic item to shrink it. I'd definitely rule you'd fizzle due to your target being invalid.
