AM NOT!

No, I did not get dressed while drunk.

Is it Kriss Kross appreciation day already!

One day down, one more to go...

So, I downloaded the new Pathfinder Adventure App from Google Play tonight
(The card game in APP form, for those who have been living under a rock for the past year, and might not have heard about it.) :)

It is BEAUTIFUL

It played well, although even as someone who has stumbled through the first couple of scenarios of the box set a couple of times, I already had an idea what was up.

Only reason I'm not giving it a GLOWING review right off the bat is;
-I'm tired and cranky, ;P
-My Tablet (Samsung Galaxy 8) overheated halfway through the tutorial, forcing me to remove it from it's case to continue (NEVER has happened before!) :(
-You MUST sign into the Google Game app if you wish to collect gold and such from playing the game, IE-must also be on interwebs WHILE playing the game, (You don't HAVE to be, but why play all that time and NOT get the rewards youve earned?!?) And I, generally, detest those games that require you to be online to play. :/
-So of course, my internet connection kept dropping out during play, and then reconnecting, and then dropping,... O_o

Despite all that, it is a BEAUTIFUL game, and I think, if I can get my buggy device to behave, I will really enjoy it!
Hoping that a little sleep, and a few actual scenarios, will help me get a better idea of how well it actually works. I REALLY want it to be as awesome as it looks, the story-line and character conversations/cut aways were really cool and (I think) added to the game.

Looking forward to wasting a few hours (and a few bucks) with this one!
:)

GOOD MORNING TREEFORTNAM!!!!

Coming at this day two-fisted and swinging. Got about six hours sleep which counts as a full ration for me. A sunny day I'll get to spend outside landscraping then my final class for the semester. Woot!

A nice cerebellum stout, perhaps?

Landscraping done. I'm running into Boston. I'm a bit late, there were traffic snafus. Not too happy:(. Ah well, I will survive.

Tonight we do a mock trial. I'm not sure how that will go, but it will be interesting at least.

Just got my dwarven forge shipment. I may need a minute to myself after looking at it all.................. *proceeds to lay dwarven forge stuff on bed to roll around naked on*

Wait a minute.... there's something... oddly familiar here... handsome devil though...

Wow... I'm actually caught up with the post-reset-canon Star Wars comics in trade paperbacks. (The highlights so far are the Darth Vader ongoing series and the Princess Leia one-shot.

Also, yesterday a bona-fide, written-for-the-BBC comedian liked two of my puns!

Me too. Especially the half-page panel just after the battle where you get fractions of conversations and it's everything from "We did it" to "Have you seen so and so," and "Half the squadron done."

And Luke's undercover mission to fetch two bonsai-trees was fun.

OK, maybe not today.

Ok I was posing in a corset and dress with a rapier and I got kind of playful and started shadow dueling with it. I observed two things. That the corset keeps your chest from expanding making it impossible to draw full deep breaths and also that if you ever tried to swashbuckle in one you end up panting like a dog... Which is neither ladylike OR intimidating. So much for the outfit I always pictured myself in when playing such games. Now I have to dream up something far more practical.

After my stint in the military I realized that encumbrance is a sh1tty thing, and that even following the rules no one would ever be able to realistically work it. But, sometimes you have to overlook reality for fun.

Isn't it. You definitely should try fighting in a corset, it is a wild experience. Easy to see why someone could pass out in one if they don't think to or want to pant and need to exert themselves climbing a lot of stairs quickly or something similar like fighting.

That's not right!

You don't see the other game developers making abominations like this!

Your brother doesn't make unholy fusions of puppies, monkeys, and babies!

You're like a crazy person!

Time to go see what the weekend in Cape Cod has washed ashore at the hospital...

Well, I'm already thinking on my next travel project. I had a lot of fun in NYC, and I do want to visit MoMA, and the Guggenheim. I had no idea Van Gogh's Starry Night was on permanent display at MoMA. Maybe in the fall

I am also feeling nostalgic for DC. It's been almost 20 years since I was a young(ish) soldier stationed at Fort Meade. I'd like to take a weekend to ramble through the Mall and the Smithsonian.

I also have a friend in the legal business down in Charlotte NC who wants me to come visit.

Forget not your trip to the Big Easy!

Mardi Gras is a great time to get wasted,... erm,... see the sights! Yeah, That's it! ;P

Must be tough being so popular.

I never had that problem,... :/

Then I will await you in the fall. CH too, probably. Well get the bubble tea we missed out on this time!

I want to go down there to see some very specific sights.

Very. Specific.

No, not popular, but I have been blessed with some good friends over the years

I'd rather go in the Fall. I'd like to concentrate on a more sober stroll through the French Quarter, try some local cuisine, sip a coffee and nibble on a beignet early in the morning in a small patisserie, and like that
