As a 5th level alchemist, if I use an Alchemical Allocation extract, then Enhance say a potion of Cure Light Wounds so it functions at my level, which is then spit back into the bottle, would the backwash potion still function as a fifth level casting of Cure Light Wounds? Could I then pass it to an ally so they can gain the healing of that level? If it isn't consumed, could I sell it to make a profit?
Enhance Potion states that I can up the level of a potion I'm drinking to my class level, and Alchemical Allocation allows me to not consume the potion when I drink it.
Any answers, even if to the negative, are very much appreciated.

No, it states that "the alchemist can cause any potion [b]he drinks[b] to function at a caster level equal to his class level.
So, first, you're not drinking the potion you hand to your buddy. Second, it's not clear that the potion itself is modified, only the effect that it has on you, (In particular, if you kept four doses of a potion in the same bottle, and used this effect, there's no suggestion that the remaining three doses would be altered.)
My reading of the ability is that what's changing is not the potion's chemistry (alchemy?), but your response to it.

In the same way that most "functions as" things don't mean you have that thing for other purposes.
It causes a potion you drink to function as if it had a caster level equal to your class level. There's some wriggle room in the wording, but my image of this is that you're using your own internal energy to fuel the potion, which is stronger than the original magics in the potion. Kind of like saying any potion you use on yourself is just a blueprint for your body to use as an extract of that instead.
I feel like there's too much room for abuse to do it any other way. An army's worth of level 1 potions is only a little bit expensive, and nearly useless. With a week a level 20 alchemist (less if you use up Boro beads, but we're looking for easy profit and that's an expensive investment for your start up cost) can make those 300 potions into level 20 potions, which are a lot more expensive. I mean, it's not that bad as far as buying your potions at cl 1 and keeping them for the party at cl 20, I can see that being abused but not cheesy bad. You could have crafted them yourself and gotten them pretty cheap anyways, so no big deal. (Bonus points if you did)
But to sell then for profit is a bit more tricky balance wise. I'd take it out of your loot drops, or just say that nobody wants to buy your backwash at full price and not even at half price unless they're really desperate. Like most free money things, this is a no go for many DMs.
