We are delighted to be bringing you a slew of Egyptian adventures, like the just-released Shrine of Serpents and last month's Beneath the Festered Sun, but I am equally excited to be back to work on the long-awaited FORT SCURVY, a high-level adventure into the hazardous harbor of the pirate king!
Check out the latest preview and look forward setting sail for Fort Scurvy next month!

it’ll be a joy to get this one finally off my desk and out to you, hopefully followed soon thereafter by Ultimate Armies, Royal Tournaments, and Way of the Blade! - See more at: http://www.makeyourgamelegendary.com/egypt-is-here-and-winter-is-coming-but -its-a-pirates-life-for-me/#sthash.fWahdwD3.dpuf
Good news! I've been looking forward to Ultimate Armies and Royal Tournaments for a LONG time. Just what is that 'Way of the Blade' book, though?

It is similar to The Way of Ki and Meditations of the Imperial Mystics, but more aimed towards weapon-users.

Yes!
I was actually working on it last week before leaving on my camping trip. It's been sort of joined at the hip with Ultimate Armies, as working out the finer points of the troop template there plays a role with a lot of the kind of ship crew and castle defender encounters you find in the "inhabited" parts of the fort. I think I've settled on a way to do it systematically that works well enough, so things should be getting unstuck.
It pains me that we weren't able to get it out in February like I hoped, nor March, but I have a dogged determination to get not just this but the other long-languishing pieces up and out the door. My writing time has just not been what I thought it would be so far this year, but this thing IS going to get done. The final art is in and so are the final maps, and now it's just down to me getting the revisions and edits done that I need to do to get it out the door.
Thanks for your patience and for the virtual kick in the butt to keep it moving!

When this is described as "high-level" which numbers do you have in mind?
My PCs are level 14, and I need to be teasing them with the base they're going to have to assault soon. Even if all I use from this is the set of maps (eg if it's for totally the wrong level), I think it's going to make a great addition to my game. Please release it and take my money!

In Part Two of Volume Six of the pirate adventure path, the party is assumed to "avoid a frontal assault on the fort and instead infiltrate the caves beneath the fortress." There are tunnels on the official map labeled To the Fortress, but there's no map of the fortress itself.
Can Fort Scurvy be used as a full-scale replacement for the sea cave infiltration? Can it be used in combination with the published adventure, so that the PCs storm the fortress, then enter the sea caves (or vice versa)?

You could use it either way. It depends on your taste in how the two sections interface with each other, so it's up to you how you'd like to run it.

Working on it still. 2016 is still the year of "get all the old projects done or die trying!" I've got one Paizo project I'm working on now, but I'm hoping to have an announcement on Fort Scurvy in time for INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY on September 19th. Now that the school year has started back up, I'll have fewer distractions during the day and it is all about grind, grind, grinding through!!!

YES, we actually have movement on our "so very long past due" projects!
The long-simmering "Way of the Blade" for the Far East AP Plug-Ins is just about done, and it's been split into THREE books:
Oriental Options: Martial
Oriental Options: Magical
Oriental Options: Monks
Martial and Monks should be heading to layout this weekend and available by the end of the month. We're still adding more content to Magical, but I expect it should be ready in December. That should put a capper on the Far East Adventure Path series.
Fort Scurvy is next in line in the OLD PRODUCTS pile, and it should be ready to go in December as well.
I'm not sure if I'll get Royal Tournaments and Ultimate Armies done by the end of the year, but I very much will try!

*Happily cracks the whip to give emotional support* Glad to see the progress being made, Jason! I know that you've been wanting Ultimate Armies put out as much as I have.
