I tried a search, and while I could find the topic, I couldn't find an answer, either on the boards or the errata.
for the Draugr Captain what is the DC to resist/remove the negative level? Is it 12 like the regular Draugr's Nausea?

Thank you Gentlemen... would be nice if they put that in the stats. *sigh*
Draugr Captain (CR 3)
...
A draugr captain is a draugr with the advanced simple template.
and
Advanced Creature (CR +1)Creatures with the advanced template are fiercer and more powerful than their ordinary cousins.
Quick Rules: +2 on all rolls (including damage rolls) and special ability DCs; +4 to AC and CMD; +2 hp/HD.
As you need to reference the advance template to know the Draugr Captain abilities changes, I would say that it is in the rules.
It is not a very user friendly system, but it save a lot of space in the books.

There isn't an initial DC for the energy drain. It gives a negative level, no stop, no save. You get a save after 24 hours to remove the negative level as a temporary negative level. If you fail that save then it becomes "permanent" until removed.
The only time there is an initial save against energy drain is if the attack in question explicitly gives an initial save.
If the entry lists a save throw that is for the 24 hour later removal save and has no bearing on the initial damage.

I'd agree, except that since it doesn't give an initial DC for the energy drain, it is hard to add 2 to a DC that isn't there. Really, how hard would adding (DC 12) be to the text? If it was based off of the nausea DC it would be 14 for example...
Energy replaces nausea, and since it doesn't indicate that it has a different DC (to remove the level) that means it is based on the nausea DC, including being increased by a charisma increase.
