If I lose a player on PbP

3/5 5/5

So, I've had games in PbP where some players seem to drift away, posting very little or not at all. How would I handle this in a PFS scenario?

If they've participated in three or more encounters, I think they're still entitled to a chronicle sheet, right? What if they haven't, e.g. if they stop responding after the first or second?

Players always receive chronicle sheets for every game they play. What rewards they're entitled to depend on the level of completion. 3 encounters gives you 1 XP, and then you add up the gold they earned from the encounters they've already done (as listed in the treasure section). They may or may not have PP at that point, depending on secondary success conditions.

Before issuing a partial chronicle, though, I recommend that you try to reach out to the player and see if they wish to re-join/continue the game or if they want a partial chronicle sheet.

Thank goodness I haven't had to deal with that in PFS yet... though I have had to drag the group to move forward at times!
