Medium - Does the Archmage Arcana include arcane spell failure from armor?

Rules Questions

Quick question (I hope!)

The medium doesn't face arcane spell failure from armor for most of her spells because they are psychic (or so I understand). But what about the wizard/sorcerer spells that she gets from channeling the Archmage spirit? I'm assuming they are affected by it, but wanted to make sure.

"When you cast these spells, they count as arcane (though not for the purpose of filling prerequisites), and thus you must provide the verbal and somatic components instead of though and emotion components." (emphasis mine)

Arcane spell failure applies to arcane spells with somatic components, unless otherwise stated. Note, there are some arcane spells that do not have somatic components (flare, feather fall, true strike, etc.) and never have a chance of spell failure when casting in armor.

So yes, you have Arcane spell Failure.

Thanks guys! I thought it had something to do with the components but didn't know it was that clear cut. Good to know!
