So, I saw someone else mention this as a joke in another thread, and I'm not even familiar with the mechanics, but I would be grateful if someone wanted to build a Grippli Mesmerist.

Yup, these jokes have been floating around as soon as people had both grippli boons and Occult Adventures in hand.
The only downside (and it's not much of one) is that grippli do not have a CHA bonus. The only reason I wouldn't care is because of the save penalty from stare.
This wouldn't be for PFS so boons are irrelevant. This would most likely be for a one-shot that I might play in the future.
Currently my group is playing Deadlands, but when our normal GM can't come (he's a doctor so it happens) the rest of us will get together and play a one shot of some sort.
So, a joke character like this would be great for such an occasion. We usually get odd-ball jokes characters for one shots and they're lots of fun.

In mine KM campaign mine players annexed a certain Hex inhabited by a boggard during the last session.
Since they haven't visited their "friend" Garuum in an year and half, and they annexed "his" hex and build a Sawmill terrain improvement in it without even saying hello to him...
I now really want to level-up him as a Mesmerist to throw them a custom Kingdom Event having an Angry Garuum Hypnotoad causing Unrest.
