Help Making a Map

Hi Guys. I need advice on 2 things.

1. What do you guys think of this map I made?

2. Is this kingdom sheet functional and should I add anything?

Overall just need thoughts please.

The map is empty on the SW, i plan on having the pc's set up a town there.

The first map looks great. Perhaps if you could include a key for land types, that would be nice. Perhaps make the writing contrast a bit more from the background. Oh, and a sense of scale, so a x inches = x miles or something.

Thanks for reminding me. its 12 mile/hex. Thanks for the input. Any suggestions on how to get the text to contrast better?

I know this is a little picky, but too much white is too disruptive to the rest of the text. If you could find a balance, that would be great.

I like the shadowy effect from the previous map.

Also, if you could square off the borders so it's not all hexy around the edge, that would be good.

The program I'm using is finicky as hell. Cant square the edges in it. Have a look at this. Busy uploading it to drive.
