Just been kind of bored about the forums lately and thought i'd try to spice it up a little.
Dragonslayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough
I THINK we can assume both of them are large sized and become huge sized when the other is destroyed.
they're not human(or at least not likely, there is some debate on whether or not size is related to race or just power level).
I feel like when one dies the other gestalts with whatever class he had and regains full health, but beyond the fight mechanics what would be the best way to construct the base Ornstein and Smough?

Well first you need a bard to be playing that music in the background....
My first thought for Smough would be some sort of Bloodrager or Barbarian. I know they both have options to grow in size, which would be similar to when Ornstein dies: buddy dies, Smough gets bigger by raging to trigger the growth (though its arguable if Smough reaaally cared if Ornstein died...), and then keep on trucking. Ornstein.... I'm tempted to say he's a Magus with medium/heavy armor and the arcana that lets him cast his spells while wielding a 2 hander. Which is probably how I'd play him. That, or the Dragoon class I should really finish writing up that was inspired by him and FF dragoons.

I actually saw Ornstein as a Warpriest. After all, he's basically a combat cleric of "Gwynevere", although a couple of the class abilities don't necessarily fit such as the channeling. If you're doing a home game you can always ask (or not if you're the GM) to switch out the channeling for something else that fits but isn't overpowered.
