Hi! I'm new to the Pathfinder system, but I'd like to get together to play with a group in my area. I live in North Carolina, Iredell county. Is anyone here from there as well? Is there anyone looking for a new member to a group or starting a group?
I'm completely new and I'm looking to have fun.
Hi Jack! Welcome to the forums! I'm not anywhere near North Carolina, but I hope you'll find someone!

Hey Jack,
So warhorn.net is a popular site for scheduling pathfinder games. You can check your city on there or just check NC and see if a city close to you has any games.
In Charlotte there seems to be an inactive game in NoDa (a neigborhood in Charlotte) at Get Some Games. I say inactive because nobody signs up but they keep scheduling games soo perhaps somebody is showing up and just not using the site for organization.
There also seems to be a game hosted at Fea Balmora which is north of Charlotte in Cool Springs, NC but a google does not yeild an address and I have a suspicion that may be a home game as it looks like a residential area.
There is also a game hosted at Above Board Games in Fort Mills,SC which is just south of Charlotte. They use warhorn.net for scheduling and have a 5 dollar cover to play.
I have found in Concord, TN one game shop, New Realm game shop. http://newrealmgaming.com/calendar/ They seem to host a game on Wed night. I emailed asking for details but have no gotten a response yet. That is however the old board game shop I have found in Concord NC so it may be the one Brother Fen is talking about.
Additionally it seems there used to be games run out of Your Local Game Store in Mattews, NC and PC Outpost and Gaming in Kannapolis, NC. They appear to be inactive but if you contact them that may not be the case.
Hope this helps and if you hear of any others let me know. :)
Best wishes and good luck.

I'll try contacting them. I admit I am very anxious but I want to have fun so I'll try.

Lot of NC PFS contacts here: PFS Regional Coordinators
Not sure which is closest to you... Kannapolis maybe? New to NC myself, so not familiar with the area around Charlotte yet.

Kannapolis is closest to me. I just want to play a game, this is so frustrating.

I'm actually in Southern Pines where I run a weekly PFRPG campaign every Sunday at Hit Point Hobbies. I had to start this group, but I was considering going to Concord/Charlotte if I couldn't find something closer.
Here are some links that might help you all:
PFS is run out of Hornet's Nest.
You can find the list of Regional Coordinators here. Just scroll down to NC.
Get Some Games seems to run PFS on Sundays in Charlotte. Schedule here.
