Suggestion: Alternate Favorite / Upvote system

Website Feedback

I had a suggestion for a website function that had to do with the "favorite" system. Right now, I use the "favorite" function to indicate agreement with a post, particularly when the post has already said the things that I would have in a later post.

The problem I've found is that this buries the posts on my favorites list that I want to reference later, such as PFS rulings by campaign management and links to interesting or helpful sites / tools, etc.

I'd like to request an upvote or "I agree" function that is separate from the "favorite" function.

I'd rather that this site not become another social media piece of nonsense, you want popularity contests, stick to Facebook or Reddit.

Put me down as a vote against.

We very likely won't be implementing an "up vote" feature (there's too many opportunities for that to get gamed fast, or to cause unneeded drama). I'd suggest trying out our "lists" feature (try clicking "List" on a post to see) which allows for better management of posts that you'd like to keep marked for reference reasons.

Thanks, for your suggestion Chris.
