Locked Gauntlet Lance when Dismounted

Rules Questions

In this circumstance we have a cavalier who was mounted while wielding a lance in a locked gauntlet. The mount was just murdered (by me) and now she is on the ground.

What happens with the locked gauntlet?
Can she use the lance?
What are her options?
What happens if the other gauntlet is also locked with a shield?

She has another weapon available if she is able to weapon change.

It sounds like she's holding it now in one hand. She can't use it as a weapon unless you want to allow her to use it as an improvised weapon. She is also wearing a shield that is a martial weapon that she can wack people just fine with.

I'm not sure if she has a shield or not. If she doesn't, she can just put her other hand on it and use it. If she does, then she can drop it and use her other hand on it. Or she can just beat people with her shield if it is in a locked gauntlet.

I'll agree with Claude's response.

All gauntlets are still locked. If she has a hand free she should use it to help wield the lance, otherwise deal with improvised awkwardness.

Realistically having two locked gauntlets is a bad idea, I mean, how do you unlock them? With your teeth?

Edit: Didn't see the part about the side arm. I don't think that really helps here. If she has a hand free she could wield it one-handed and just ignore the lance, but two-handing the lance would probably do more damage. If she has a shield locked in then she still has to waste a full-round action in the middle of combat to drop either the lance or shield and then either go sword and shield, or two-hand the lance depending on what she dropped.
