Alchemist's mutagen question

Rules Questions

Quick rules question: can an alchemist, who has just imbibed a Strength mutagen, voluntarily dismiss it when he needs the INT bonus for a Knowledge skill check? Or does he have to wait out the entire duration of the mutagen?

There's nothing in the mutagen class feature that allows you to end it early. So, unfortunately, no.

Sorry. ^_^

wait it out. hope your not level 14+ or that will be hours \level doration to wait...

there is a magical item( vest or something that goes on the shirt slot) that cost 20,000 and let you have the mutigen bonus without having the panilties

some builds actuly enjoy staying in mutigen form for as long as they can
an undine with ether braeth weapon(it has 2 options in the alt racial abilities) and feral mutigen active can pick noxious bite and have a very mean bite attack starting from level 3.

Thanks for all your replies!

This will be fun! The alchemist concerned is the group's skill-monkey and tank. Well, the goat familiar of the Witch of the group is actually the tank, but that's another story. So naturally, when in "tank-form" due to his mutagen, he can't effectively use his skills as usual, but without his mutagen he's not the buff warrior the group needs him to be.

Decisions, decisions... ;-)
