Legendary Tournaments indeed looks fantastic. To the level of being tempted to throw a bribe to get my grubby little mittens on it. Of course, I respect Jason's integrity too much to do such a thing.
I wonder whether a "consultation fee payment" works...

Lots of exciting stuff. I like the new direction for Mythic Monsters. As far as mythic spells and feats I hope you do not forget the remaining companion/campaign setting/adventure path spells and feats that have not yet been mythicized. Your mythic partners Kobold and RGG also have a lot of spells and feats that could use mythic treatment from Midgard/Complete Advanced Feats/Divine Favor and Bulletpoints/Genius Guides respectively.

Nice to see Alex Augunas' name up on the list of the LG team, and SO MUCH AWESOME COMING!!!
There's actually a funny story about that. I was already on the schedule for two products that haven't been announced yet, but while we were chatting at PaizoCon on Tuesday, I mentioned some of my ideas for the swashbuckler class. I finished and he said, "Great! You're doing Legendary Classes: Swashbuckler and I'm going to announce it tomorrow."
So yeah, great PaizoCon story. :-)

Gotta be careful what you say in front of the publisher. :)

Not too sure if this is the right place or not for this, but... I just picked up a copy of Ultimate Commander and while I love it on first reading and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to use small-unit tactics in their game, I did notice a couple of things:
1) The chart on page 10 in the PDF for the statistics of the general's squad only goes up to level 18. Does this mean the squad ceases to improve past 18? Or should we just use the information for the zombie horde on page 26 at levels 19 and 20 to cover it?
By the way, that alternate class, the Hordelord? Great idea.
2) I like the information for the troop template at the back on the book, though could we get some information on things like how to determine their collective hit dice, AC, and challenge rating? And do they do the same damage as individuals or do they inflict more?
Sorry about those quibbles and I really love the book. Looking forward so much to my physical copy!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who spotted the chart: I emailed Jason about it a couple of days ago. I'm certain it's meant to go to 20th level because the level of the squad is equal to your class level. I figure it was a layout glitch that snuck past the editing process.
I think we all want to see a "how to build a Troop" guide. Perhaps in Ultimate Armies?

Thanks for letting me know that it wasn't just my PDF.

From your mouth to the designer's ear, I hope.

Correct on both counts.
1. The missing lines in the table were a layout glitch. I've sent a note to layout and we'll post up the new version (and send it to people who have already bought it) once it's done.
2. Ultimate Armies will include a troop template that can be used to convert creatures into troops.

*back and forth finger pointing*
See? You get me.
Having already wiped out about a third of this year's non-subscription gaming budget on the Mythic Mania products, you sure know how to make me part with my cash.

Jason has successfully cast a mythic Dominate Wallet.

For me, one of the most interesting things about the troop subtype is that the examples listed are actually fairly decent examples of what a "one-creature encounter" should be. If you run the math, they are essentially glass cannons (and although their HP lines up with the Statistics by CR, IIRC, their increased size means they can be hit more often), able to put out a LOT of firepower in one round. They served their role very well in the book they came out in.
Perhaps needless to say, for the Squad we decided to dial that back a fair bit, and focus on some more defensive abilities.

Thank you! And curse you for leaving me salivating like Pavlov's dogs for Ultimate Armies now. ;)

The HeroLab folks have thus far said they prefer to do big chunks of stuff at a time (like the Mythic Mania books, or the Gothic Campaign Compendium) rather than single-book bits at a time, so not likely a full-scale add-on to HL for something like this.
That said, if there's a way to create a plug-in module to the HL system that we could sell, that could be something we could do, but I'm certainly not HL-savvy enough to know whether that's something do-able.
