Avengers Black Panther build help

Hello all. I am trying to work out a good build for the Marvel superhero Black Panther. I want to make him very mobile and agile with good reflexes and maneuverability. I also want to make him noble, smart, and perceptive. And finally I want him to be capable of using energy attacks either naturally or via an item/weapon. Sonic is an energy type right? Or am I making that up. If it is then sonic energy attacks would be preferred because vibranium has sonic properties (it's a thematic thing).

Anyone have any advice? And am I asking for too much in this build? Any advice would be much appreciated.

My initial advice would unchained monk, but your will save would be low, and you wouldn't get as many weapon proficiencies as he had. Brawler would probably be good, but then your speed would be lower....

As for energy, maybe....amulet of mighty fists with sonic, or sonic burst?

I ended up deciding he will be a sacred fist warpriest of Bastet with a little bit of slayer thrown in.

Me too. I'm awaiting anxiously as well for the movie from Marvel. With Ava Duvenay (Selma) directing and Chad Boseman as BP is should be epic.

Sure. Just a few points: I am a bit of a novice, I am not a min/maxer and I built him as a level 12 character.

I will have to post it in a couple of hours though, because I can't get on my computer right now. Rest assured though, I will post him.

Do not fear optimization. You want the numbers to match the concept.

Nobody should build a PC based off the Hulk, with a 7 Str, and 7 Con.

I mean, you can start with a pretty low strength score & build off of it.

I just did with my Hulk build.

Hulk with a low str score makes sense prior to his raging and mutagen (assuming thats the rout you take).

I don't know enough about black panther, but would like to see the build as well.

I think I would have gone in a different direction.

His hit points are real low for a twelve level character who will presumably be actively fighting.

How did you get your stats? Rolling or point-buy?

That build is way too focused on Dex, and lacks sufficient Con. The odd-numbered scores are also useless.

I'd go with something more like:

Str 10
Dex 18 (including +2 from Human)
Con 12
Int 14
Wis 13
Cha 12

At 20 point-buy, anyway. With the stat points from being 12th, go +2 Dex, +1 Wis.

I'd also go Slayer 5/Sacred Fist 7. You get very little from Sacred Fist 8 (unless you're going all the way to 20th) while Slayer 5 ups Studied Target quite a bit.
