I see the Pathfinder Battles Iconic Set #3 coming out this month has 5 out of the 6 APG iconics in it. I was just thinking how nice it would be if, at the same time, they made the PFS pregens for them finally available.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

My one regret is that I can only favorite this post once.

My two regret is that the Magus and the APG pregens are still in the wind, when a new book is only months away that will introduce what, 10 more iconics to go with the new classes.

Sovereign Court 4/5

And the new iconics are odds on to get pregens before the missing ones

Scarab Sages

Well, there will be Balazar and Padrig pregens for the unchained quest. Wont be able to use them elsewhere, but it's a start.

Well it would give more reason for the PFS people to buy the set with the older icons in it if we could actually use them in PFS.

Well in Mike and John's defense.. they gotta be two of the busiest guys @ Paizo.. wrangling all us players, dealing with finishing up the season, and planning out the cons and getting everything lined up for the new play guide.

Even with folks helping and delegated tasks it amazes me they get everything they do get done.. :D

Oh, I don't doubt that. But a guy can dream.

1. Master of the Fallen Fortress has pregens for four of the APG characters that were designed to be used in the module. I would imagine (though tbh Im not certain) that those would still be usable for that module.

2. My wife and I like to use the minis for the PACG games, especially when actually using the iconics. We find the minis easier to manage than a stack of cards considering that when its just the two of us, we each play 2 characters.

Yeah you can use them for that module, but they have 15 point buys and are level 1.

The time where the 15 point buy is most disadvantageous is at level 1.

I played as the oracle the one time I used a pregen of the two times I have played it and realized late that she has an 8 con and would go unconscious (and probably die from bleeding out) after tripping on a rock.

That being said, I would love to see all of the APG classes as pregens because not enough people play cavaliers or inquisitors, and almost every oracle I see is of the life mystery.

Seeing Balazar and Padrig as an unchained pregen and maybe getting people to try out different classes would be really awesome.

You get a great feeling when a new player describes what they want their character to be/do and you hand them a pregen to try out for their first or second game and they are excited after the game because the core of the class is exactly what they wanted and they can fine tune the parts they want to change/did not like or understand.
