I actually didn't notice either until you pointed it out... It must have happened recently-ish.
Not that I don't account for being blind either. Like driving by a sign and noticing it was different and then wondering just how long it had been since they changed it despite driving that way every day.

At the risk of summoning Tyncale's wrath (heehee!), I won't completely move until there's a PM function on GoblinWorks. Between wildly different time zones and play times, quite often the only way I can have conversations is via PM.
Bookmarking/favoriting posts for future reference would be nice, too.

The reason I'm still here has nothing to do with any shortcomings at goblinworks.com (although PMs would be nice). Instead, it has entirely to do with the fact that I have a lot of history here - it feels like home. 12,719 (well, 12,720 now) posts as Nihimon since January 5th, 2012 - and a lot of history.

The GW forums are very lackluster at the moment. For a gaming forum, I find PMs, Search and a Dev Tracker to be invaluable. The layout over there is not particularly intuitive (I've yet to really figure out where people post over there- it certainly isn't in the more specialized fora that are immediately visible).
This forum isn't perfect, but it works better for me.

I say worse than "lackluster", it is inexcusable in light of the fact that you can create a fully featured forum for free and one with expanded features for about $7.00 to $12.00 per month.

The GW forum gets way more posts per day. It also gets more constructive posts and less of the tantrum throwing and "I am a special snowflake and if you disagree with me you are attacking me" nonsense you get here.
Nobody uses the specialized forum categories on GW.
You just need to click on "Last Update in Topics" at the bottom right of the forum home and you get threads arranged according to most recent post the same way they appear here.
