If your group agrees about this with you, get them together and stop playing society. IF the GM is only saying no so you guys get completion, then get him to run home games for you. Those tend to be much more flexible. Pathfinder does not have to be in the society to be fun. Don't forget your characters are not allowed to make major impacts on the world in PFS as it is supposed to go on without you.

I've never really gotten the fascination with being the 'heroes'. Sure, being the knight in shining armor is fun to RP, but there are so many more archetypes in fiction that can be satisfying to exemplify. My favorite character I've ever made is a CN Cleric of Madness and Deception. I wouldn't call anything he's ever done evil, but by-and-large he doesn't understand the Good-Evil axis at all. He separates the world into Chaotic and Boring. To him, being a good person is about making the world more interesting. Most of the time, even evil characters I've played outside of PFS believe that they are good people, their moral system is just different than the setting's.
I like PFS because it isn't a 'band of heroes', but a corporation. It pursues historically important items and information, and does so at a profit. The Society doesn't outright pursue evil, it pursues its own agenda and protects and promotes its own interests. Therefore the primary criterion agents must fulfill is not moral fortitude, but competence. Anyone is welcome, as long as you do your damn job.
